Junior Accounts
- A junior account is for any member under 16 years of age.
- An account may be opened for a child by any adult, however, ID documents are required for the childs parent/legal guardian.
- Only the childs parent/legal guardian are allowed to withdraw from the account. If necessary, a mandate can be put in place on account opening to establish which parent/legal guardian can withdraw from the account.
- Once the child turns 16, the account is deemed to be an adult account and all mandates are null and void, i.e. the child can withdraw from the account in their own right.
How to open a Junior Account
- The child must meet our common bond requirement to qualify for membership (see below).
- The following documents are required for the parent/legal guardian:

- For those living outside the common bond but working within it, proof of employment is required (a letter from their employer or payslip dated within last three months).
- The childs birth certificate or passport, and proof of their PPS number, are also required.
